Lots has happened

Other Kitty is dead - kidney failure. We had to put her to sleep.

Then, impusively, the very next day, we purchased "Pajamas". She is black and white and tiny and adorable. And once Emma stopped hissing at her, she starting playing. It was good. I'll post pictures eventually.

We decided not to go to the Florida convention. But we still have the week off, and with our Christmas money from the church we have more than enough to make the trip to see my mom in Ontario. We'll be bringing Pajamas with us.

Christmas Eve approaches. I have so much to do to get ready for the services, I haven't even STARTED thinking about things like Christmas cards and presents and stuff.

A girl I used to know is dead. She's one of those people that I remember through pictures --- I see a picture of her, and can name lots of situations I know we were in together, though I have no actual DETAILED memory. But I remember that she was kind, and loving, and a woman of God. And now she's gone. Another girl I used to know is awake, after being in a serious car accident that left her badly burned and her baby son dead. She was kept sedated for a long time, and now she's awake, and will hear about her son. They both have/had loving husbands that are shouldering so much right now. I can't even imagine.

Your Connie came this weekend. She and Shelly are friends.

Will you have time to visit me when you are in Ontario? Though I will be honest, I may not have time...I will be at Urbana for most of the holidays. But if we can work it out, we should. It would be fun. Seeing the BL connection at Shelly's funeral made me realize the importance of my year there and the friendships that resulted.

love ya roommate.

you need to come visit. This is a demand, not a request.
